Boy Scouts of America

March 2002 @ TLYC.

Nearly 30 Boy Scouts of America Troop 351 and parents from the International School of Manila recently camped out at TLYC.  A fantastic time was had by all, with novices applying their new lessons quickly, while more experienced boys took advantage of good winds to improve their skills with our toppers, sunfish and cats.

The boys learned to sail on the smaller toppers and sunfishes before moving into the catamarans.

TLYC has about half a dozen Hobie 16s for rent, and the more experienced scouts and scoutmasters had a great time sailing along the shoreline checking out the local scene.
